God made us fearfully and wonderfully. He also gave us foods to nourish and heal! I had fun recording a series of videos with one of my good friends, Missy (a holistically minded Reg. Dietician), in honor of yesterday (March 15), which was ….. according to the calendar of days……. “National Everything You Think is Right is Wrong Day”.

Yoga for Constipation!

We talk about a lot of things in Yoga…. and
is one of them! Yoga is one holistic tool to help get your digestive system moving more regularly. If someone isn’t having daily (normally formed) bowel movements, this is a guarantee that the rest of the body will not perform optimally.
Come to yoga…. it may be just what you’ve been missing!
Wednesday nights @ 7:30pm …… message me for details (Walk-in’s always welcome!)
See you on the mat!

14 Day Reset
Good morning friends! I wanted to share a video from a group that I am co-facilitating. It’s called the 14 Day Reset.
Reset what…. you might ask?
Well, sometimes we get so used to feeling “off” it becomes normalized to each of us. In fact, you may have gone to the doctor and been told “everything is fine”, and though you may not feel fine, you’ve just been told that “not feeling fine” is normal….. (It’s not! ), and so many people just attribute this to aging and normal wear and tear on the body.
God made us fearfully and wonderfully. He also made us as an incredible healing machine…. IF the body has the opportunity to do so. This means giving the body the nutrition and tools it needs and removing the toxins that are causing the body harm which show up as clues making you feel “off”, perhaps in multiple ways.
What does feeling “off” feel like? That answer will be different for each of us, so maybe a better question is this….. what should we feel like day to day?
happy, calm, not anxious or

all at once
clear minded with an increase in focus
having the energy

to complete the day’s tasks
a decrease or absence
of chronic pain
a gut that willing pumps out 2-3
a day
and more!
(weight loss may be an added perk!)
Now, a 14 Day Reset is a starting point. Perhaps you take the information you learn, and decide to make what you glean a lifestyle because you feel so much better. It takes more than 14 days to change a habit and Rome wasn’t built in a day (nor was it destroyed in a day!), but if these 14 days give you a glimpse that it just might be possible to feel great again….. would you put skin in the game?
The 14 Day Reset group came together because collectively, we saw a need for this. It is free, though you’ll need NingXia Red ….(102 oz total for 14 days) to join the group (The NR starter bundle…. #42763 satisfies this). Please send me a screenshot of your order, and I’ll get you added to the 14 Day Reset Community.
We’ll be addressing mind, body, and spirit health together.
( If you do not yet have a Young Living account of your own, but would like to try this challenge, you can create an account here: https://bit.ly/3oFccZj and then message me that you’ve done so and I’ll get you added!)
NOTE: this is a YL Family event…. ALL are welcome but you will need to message me a picture of your placed order for NingXia Red.

(This video is a glimpse of the type of education you’ll be receiving).
Fecal Immunological Testing or Colonoscopy?
I’ve been involved in several client, family, and friend discussions over the last couple weeks on colonoscopies.
This is another procedure we are expected to partake in as we age. While there is a time and a place for Western Medicine (and colonoscopies), I offer up this information:
There are a growing number of studies whose outcome suggests that having fecal immunological testing was AS EFFECTIVE as a colonoscopy (and without the risks) in people who are considered low risk (people with no prior history of colorectal cancer, no dark stools
or rectal bleeding etc). Here’s a quote from one of the studies :
” The most relevant result of this interim analysis is that one-time screening with FIT was very similar to one-time colonoscopy with respect to the rate of detection of colorectal cancer, and there was no significant difference in the stage of tumors detected by the two strategies. ” Certainly, the colonoscopy will catch adenomas (which are benign fatty deposits), but again, this isn’t without risk.
Cologuard is a prescribed product, so you’ll need your doctor’s support in this approach. In my professional opinion, it is worth investigating.

Breathing the Yoga Way

Breathing is something we all do…. at least hopefully so
! But are you breathing properly? Breathing seems like such an unimportant exercise topic, but it’s not. Learning to breathe properly not only maximizes your workout potential, it also is the literal motor driving involuntary body processes like heart rate, blood pressure, proper posture, and even emotions. Breathing properly affects pain perception (think of the breathing work you may have learned for childbirth), and it even affects how we walk and how we use our arms. Crazy right? Crazy good…… God made us wonderfully!
Literally…. breathing
(whether you do it well or not) affects your overall wellbeing. Not breathing correctly has a negative effect on all of the above….. there’s not a neutral answer here. It’s either beneficial or detrimental.
Come learn more about breathing properly and get a good workout in the process.
See you on the mat on Wednesdays @ 7:30pm! Local peeps, message me for more details….walk in’s always welcome!
