Personal Reflections

History of Sacred Frankincense

Liz James · May 10, 2022 ·

History tells us our story. I love when Biblical truths line up with my day to day living. Sacred Frankincense is just a little more sacred to me after reading Dr. Cole Woolley’s post. Sacred Frank is part of my DIY face serum recipe. I have always felt a kindred spirit with Noah and his wife🙏🥰. Our farm is named Ararat Acres (named after the mountain the ark came to rest upon after the flood, and where all the animals were released. ) It felt so right when we named our farm 27 years ago, and it still does.🙌

Sacred Frank…. do some research on this VIP oil and then don’t be afraid to use it! It doesn’t work in its beautiful ways if it sits in a bottle on the shelf!

What Sacred Frankincense Means to Me – Grandsons of Noah
You may be a bit surprised about the story I tell today. The people who harvest Sacred Frankincense are pure descendants of the grandsons of Noah.
Ali Ahmed Al-Shahri documented in his book “The Language of Aad” regarding the tribal origins of the Sacred Frankincense oleogum-resin harvesters. Noah’s son Shem had a 2nd great grandson name Joktan (Noah-Shem-Arphaxad-Shelah-Eber-Joktan). Joktan had 12 sons who settled the perimeter of the Arabian Peninsula (present day Oman, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates) along the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Arabian Sea, Gulf of Oman and Persian Gulf.
Ali Ahmed has documented that three of Joktan’s sons settled in present day Oman in the Dhofar Mountains surrounding Salalah, Oman. These 3 tribes: Uzal, Ophir and Jerah and their children’s subtribes are stewards over the Dhofar Mountains and harvesting Sacred Frankincense. They don’t own the land, but their right to farm, harvest frankincense, and graze animals is dependent on tribal lineage.
It is thought that tribal boundaries are marked by tetralith markers – acting as tribal agreements for land boundaries. I have photographed many of these ancient tetraliths that are found in the high deserts where only wind and sand slowly deteriorate them.
These three tribes of Joktan make up present-day Shahra and Mahra language tribes in Western Oman and adjoining Eastern Yemen. These are the harvesters of Sacred Frankincense for the past 5000 years.
Ali Ahmed Al Shahri wrote a book “The Language of Aad”. Aad was a 1st Great Grandson of Noah (Noah-Shem-Aram-Uz-Aad).

Constitution Facts

Liz James · March 24, 2022 ·

Imagine how different our lives might be if we didn’t have the US Constitution. Our personal health is very much dependent upon the health of our country.
Make today a great one!

Help with Grief

Liz James · February 25, 2022 ·

At the “just getting started” age of 55, I’ve got more than a handful of friends who have become widows at a pretty young age. I honestly cannot even pretend to imagine their grief while still navigating life, often with kiddos still at home. This is a beautiful article about grief written by a strong woman who lost her beloved after 20 years of marriage. (taken from Plain Values magazine).

I believe the right kind of grief is a sign of a life well lived. Loving well means grieving is inevitable. How grief is handled is where the outcome lies. Grief tends to settle in the lungs if emotions are not released. It’s one of the reasons so many elderly couples die so closely together (timespan wise).

Frequency of Music

Liz James · February 23, 2022 ·

This morning I was reading an article about neurons in the brain that only respond to singing and it got me to thinking. I come from a family that can’t carry a tune to save my life, while my sweet hubby comes from a family of songbirds. Does that seemingly large difference matter in terms of frequency? (I don’t know the answer to this…. I’m asking!)

My curiosity is based on this: We know that the brain responds to healing frequency as does the body. Are our singing voices naturally tuned to 432Hz? This inquiring mind (mine!) wants to know! 🤓
