Better Pumpkin Pie

It’s pie baking day! #HappyThanksgivingEve
Here’s a recipe from my dear friend Danette Goodyear (tried, true, and DELICIOUS!!!).
Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving prep day! 


Agave Pumpkin Pie
* 1 12-inch pie crust (homemade or prepared organic einkorn, spelt, etc)
* 2 cups fresh pumpkin purée or one 15-ounce can pumpkin purée
* 3 eggs, lightly beaten
* ¼ cup whole milk or heavy cream (or less almond milk)
* ½ cup YL agave nectar, YL Yacon syrup or healthy sweetener of your choice
* ½ tsp ground allspice
* ½ tsp ground clove (or 1/2 drop YL Clove Vitality oil)
* 2 tsp ground cinnamon (or 2 drops YL Cinnamon Vitality oil)
* ½ tsp ground ginger (or 1/2 drop YL Ginger Vitality oil)
* ¼ tsp ground nutmeg (or 1/2 drop YL Nutmeg Vitality oil)
* ½ tsp sea salt
* Dash of cardamom (or 1/2 drop YL Cardamom Vitality oil)
👉 Preheat the oven to 375° F.
Combine the purée with the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir until well blended. Pour into the prepared pastry and bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until the crust is nicely-browned and the custard set. Let cool on a rack before serving. Makes one 8-inch pie (so I double this recipe for more pies!).
NOTE: I usually now do this WITHOUT the crust (grain-free!) and add an extra egg to make it more like a soufflé. Great to serve in individual ramekins. 😋👍 And I DON’T forget the whipped cream!

Know Before You Go

Friends….. does vaccine information confuse and befuddled you? Package inserts do that to most people. I have recently found a beautiful website you can subscribe to called justtheinserts.com/subscribe. (They are on FB, Twitter, and IG too). 
Know before you go friends. I am not anti vaccine….I am pro knowledge. But you gotta when information is suppressed, hard to find, and protected by a law enacted in 1986 that removes liability from vaccine manufacturers. (That’s akin to letting everyone drive cars with no insurance, and if you’ve ever been hit by an uninsured motorist, you know what that’s like!)
Remember, the application of knowledge is power.

Vaccine…Hope or Mirage?

For whatever reason, the Lord has put sharing vaccine knowledge on my heart this week. I really just wanted to post about cats and kittens  😂😂🐱🐈, but apparently someone needs this info instead. 😘
Great assessment in this video and quick tidbits:
* Pfizer announced their vaccine “candidate (BNT162b2) was more than 90% effective in Phase 3 trials. (recall my post from earlier this week: effectiveness does not assume safe-ness)
* Tho announced, data has not been peer reviewed or published… both steps are crucial. (key!…. take everything with a grain of salt)
* No information was released regarding how people of different age groups fared with the vaccine…. 
* It generally takes 10-12 years for a vaccine  to be developed and assessed for safety. There simply is no way to assure safety without giving time to have outcomes. #Russianroulette 
* Even Pfizer has acknowledged “disease enhancement” is a real risk. It’s known as “antibody dependent enhancement ADE. In these situations, the vaccine actually enhances viral infections resulting in more severe dis-ease than had you not been vaccinated. (again…. it generally takes 10-12 years for the safety profile of a vaccine to be established).
* (at about the 8 minute mark on the video) Vitamin D finally brought into the picture in some countries! FINALLY. Countries that have been supplementing their population with Vitamin D3 have overall suppressed mortality (death) rates……. AND!!!! ……. it also suppresses the severity of the cov1d disease itself (ie: quicker recovery and milder symptoms)

*👉👉 At 13:47, you’ll find an EXCELLENT self care chart for the prophylaxis and mildly symptomatic management of the 2020 plague. 
* What is going on in countries and states where the  governmentally assigned “health managers” speak nothing of low cost supplements (ie: Vit D3, natural sources of Vit C, melatonin, quercetin, zinc ) as a means of suppressing the odds of getting CV2020?  Why would they not be talking about this? #doyourresearch #thinkforyourself 
**** Also of note (and not included in the video), upon Pfizer’s announcement that their v@x showed 90% effectiveness, the CEO of Pfizer sold 62% of his stock (worth about $5.6 million). This makes me wonder what he knows that the rest of us don’t know?

Critical Thinking with Your Health

Good morning friends! Just a reminder in healthcare lingo:
👉👉Effectiveness does not equal safety…..those two words are not interchangeable, NOR can you assume that using one of those words implies the “okay-ness” of the other.
Here is an exaggerated example, but you’ll get my drift…..
You have a toenail fungus, so the doctor decides to amputate. Well, that would be effective, wouldn’t it? But is that safe 😉?
Conversely, what if the doctor instead decided to paint your toenails daily with a solution of normal saline as a means to treat your toe nail fungus? Well, that would be safe, but it certainly wouldn’t be effective!
When you say yes to something that causes  irreversible or unremovable change to your body (big or seemingly small)  make sure that what you are agreeing to is BOTH safe AND effective. Otherwise you are playing Russian roulette with your body.

Touchy Topic

One of the blessings of hanging out with mentors and Young Living community friends, is getting honest “been there”….done THAT anecdotal information. Those convos and personal stories have empowered me in ways that have rocked my health world. Don’t ever turn down a chance to sit in on a “story swapping” session… sit down and soak up knowledge like a sponge….. you may come away with a life changing nugget for you or someone you love. #protip


Have you ever wondered……….
*Can you use essential oils where the sun doesn’t shine? Absolutely! (caveat: I would only recommend using Young Living because of their purity… otherwise I change my answer to “all bets are off!”)
*Do you need to dilute? Absolutely!
*Do you need to do your research on which oils would benefit (and which oils should be avoided!) the nether regions? Absolutely 100% YES!
This is a DIY’er recipe to hang on to….. you just never know when you might need to make some!…. and It sounds like it might be a good idea to keep some organic cocoa butter on hand…. you just never know when you might need it!
