Young Living Gifts – Happy New Year

Liz James · January 1, 2023 ·

Happy New Year friends! Are you ready for 2023? I have been looking forward to beginning this year with an unusual degree of anticipation πŸ₯³πŸ€ͺ😍!
Young Living January order gifts with purchase (ha ha!….. I just accidentally typed “gift with purpose”….. that too! πŸ˜‰) are helpful self care items. Perhaps a little more focused self care is on your “to do” list for 2023?
πŸŽ‰10 Loyalty Reward points for orders over 100PV with a Loyalty Reward Order. (Ya’ll…… if you like to save money and you aren’t on Loyalty Rewards, you are totally missing out on an opportunity! This is on top of the points you’ll already be getting simply for placing a Loyalty Rewards order.
Example: When I buy NingXia Red and Life 9 every month, I’ve spent $115.25. However…. with Loyalty Rewards, I get 25% back (10% back for the first 3 months, 20% back for months 4 thru 24, and 25% back thereafter….. LOYALTY pays πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°! ).
In addition to that 28.81 in points I’m getting back, I’ll also get an additional 10 points back. That means this: I didn’t spend $115.25 on NingXia Red and Life 9. I spent $76.44 which is a very affordable insurance policy on Charlie James and my health πŸ˜‰.
πŸŽ‰ Lavender is truly the Swiss Army Knife of oils. If you don’t know which oil to use, try lavender! Truly. It’s an oil that has 1001 uses. I personally use it for sleep, wound support, as an ingredient in my all purpose nasal spray and face serum, as an ingredient in the “LLPC” capsules or diffuser blend many of us use for “anti” allergy support. A little goes a long way, but even so, we probably go thru 4+ bottles a year. Just like my pocket knife, I don’t go far without a little lavender on hand!
πŸŽ‰ The Satin Facial Scrub is a gentle minty exfoliant for your face (or arms and neck too!). This time of year can be hard on skin, so a little extra pampering would be helpful! YL makes all of its products with a purpose all the way down to the seemingly most insignificant ingredient. Have you done a little digging on the benefits of apricot seed powder? It is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins A & E both of which help to nourish and moisturize skin. (They actually do quite a bit more, and I’ll leave the investigating up to you πŸ˜‰)
πŸŽ‰ I do quite a bit of lab work analysis as part of my health coaching/mentoring world. It’s ceased to be shocking to me how many people are Vitamin D deficient, because it’s so very common. We tend to think of Vitamin D and its relationship to bone health, but did you know that lower levels of Vitamin D affect insulin production, immune system function, mood, cardiovascular health, and about 400 other things in the body? Seasonal Affective Disorder is a huge problem for many people this time of year, and two major helpers for circumventing “SAD” are light therapy and Vitamin D. I suggest everyone get their Vitamin D levels checked annually (I’m even seeing teenagers with low levels😬) and be proactive! It usually takes several months to get Vitamin D levels back up to optimal levels ( 60-90ng/ml). Super Vitamin D is an excellent source for many people when taken regularly (Adults who are very low in D will need a higher strength. Feel free to message me about this if you have questions! ), and it’s another gift this month!
πŸŽ‰“God grant me the wisdom to change the things I can change in 2023, and the wisdom to accept the things that I cannot.” A bottle of Acceptance essential oil isn’t magical and by itself, it won’t make that above phrase come to pass (especially if you don’t open the bottle πŸ˜‰). There is science πŸ€“ behind this blend (as always with YL…. they don’t create products “just because”) , and the effects certain oils have on the body support the brain and neurotransmitters in ways that support healthy thought/action patterns. (Maybe that means embracing change instead of fighting it or maybe it means living with a new kind of normal in a harmonious way). The beginning of every year, every month, every week, every day, and even every moment is an opportunity to think and do in a way that inspires a beautiful and productive life. God really does desire that we be the best version of ourselves!
Acceptance is a light, fresh smelling essential oil blend I think you’ll find pleasant and uplifting.
I’m praying each one of you looks forward with anticipation to all 2023 will bring us. Imagine what the world would be like if we all used our gifts, talents, and treasures in the fullest potential!

Combat Colds or Flus

Liz James · December 29, 2022 ·

I’ve read a few articles now recently on the shortage of cold and flu products on the shelves of pharmacies. I can think of at least 2 dozen ways to combat colds or flu, and none of them involve the chemicals missing on these shelves. ❀️🌿❀️ And there’s no shortage 🌿 πŸ˜‰.
Perhaps you’ve recently stumbled across my page or this might be the first time you’ve ever thought about something outside of using “itchy, sneezy, stuffy head so you can rest medicine” from the pharmacy.
Perhaps you are a little dubious.
If the shelves are a little barren, this might be the time to learn a new trick or two. Self reliance is becoming more and more important, as is being part of a community that teaches others how to be self reliant too.
My dad gave me some great advice. This is one of his nuggets…..The best time to learn to change a tire is not when the tire is flat. The best time to change a tire, is when you have time to learn how to change a tire. πŸ˜‰ Come kick some tires with me.

Lavender & Bergamot Help Anxiety

Liz James · December 22, 2022 ·

Interesting article on lavender and bergamot use (3 times a day for 8 weeks) in a study involving 50-60yr old menopausal women who were experiencing menopause related “moderate anxiety and some sexual dysfunction”, but were otherwise healthy. (I am interpreting this to mean they did thorough labwork beforehand… key point! ☝️…. otherwise they might be overlooking a bigger fish that needed frying!)
Β

Β
This is not a one size fits all situation. Everyone is different and labwork offers a personalized trail. This doesn’t mean labwork or lavender/bergamot alone are singular answers to a potentially complex problem…. but perhaps they might be in some cases. πŸ˜‰ Lavender and bergamot are stellar oils (but only when they are high quality ones such as Young Living’s, and when they are used with purposeful regularity for this particular situation). Imagine the women (and their spouses and familiesπŸ˜‰) who might be relieved by something so simple as using lavender and bergamot three times a day. Labwork, lavender and bergamot are infinitely safer than most modern world common “solutions”.
Β
Other items I’ve personally found helpful for keeping me younger than my chronological years (in addition to regular and purposeful exercise, healthy diet, and adequate sleep!) : Alternating between Young Living’s Femigen and PD 80/20 capsules, Progessence Plus serum used nightly, and of course…. Sensation Massage oil πŸ₯°. Everyone is different, but menopause doesn’t have to be an unpleasant period of life.
Β
Worth the try? You bet! (link to Lavender and Bergamot…. and Sensation Massage oil) πŸ‘‰ bit.ly/3Wl2XMq

Energy Medicine

Liz James · December 20, 2022 ·

Energy medicine.
It’s not hooey science🧞…. it’s biology and physics πŸ€“.
Β
We are electric beings after all. The heart and brain are measured electrically in Western Medicine…… no picking and choosing. If you believe in EKG’s and EEG’s, then you believe in energy medicine.
Β
Dr. Konstantin Korotkov (physicist) has been studying the effects that a body’s energy field has on an individual’s health for many years.
Illness and emotions such as love and anger affect this energy field we each have.
Β
Cliffnotes version:
❀Love, joy, and positivity have a positive influence on a body’s electrical circuitry. Likewise, anger, frustration and negativity do just what you might imagine….. they can literally make you sick.
❀Our attitudes (positive or negative) affect our outcomes, and they also affect the wellbeing of others. In farmgirl lingo, a bad apple can spoil the whole bushel. Don’t allow someone’s bad vibes affect your own. (For the record…. vibes = energy. Energy by very definition is motion of “us” at a molecular level 😎).
❀️Bonus bits: Sounds affect our body’s energy either positively or negatively. So do smells….. just one of the reasons Young Living essential oils are so effective in doing what they do.
❀️Genesis 1 says that the Spirit of God hovered (energy) over the waters and He spoke (energy) everything into existence. Can you imagine the pure love that was poured into the creation of the heavens and the earth? What that must have felt like to the earth’s inhabitants? I can’t even imagine what that vibrational frequency felt like. What a blissful existence! πŸ™β€οΈπŸ₯°
Β
Don’t underestimate the power of your own body’s frequency to harm or heal yourself or others. It’s our secret superpower! Don’t let it go to waste πŸ˜‰.

Dr. Peter McCullough writes,
“For the last three years I have noted that those β€œawake” to the government false narrative on “C-πŸ’‰19″ tend to be in the 40-80 year age range and far more women than men. Perhaps women have a vestigial alarm system that is activated when there is a threat to the clan and certainly when a child’s life is in danger. “
Β
I agree with him. Do you?πŸ€”
Β
I have wondered this too regarding health in general. Why is it that more women than men seem to be awake and aware (and doing something about it!) when it comes to protecting the health of ourselves and our loved ones?
