Personal Reflections

The Power of Essential Oils and MPS

Liz James · October 2, 2024 ·

This 2019 memory came up in a private group I’m in and I wanted to share it here. Never ever underestimate the power of determination, love, frequency work and essential oils.
**************************************************************************
Dolphining (Dolphin MPS) animals… we don’t have many posts on here (the private group I am in) regarding this topic, and I wanted to share these pics of a calf of ours that had a very challenging birth in June. Perhaps it will encourage someone else in their work with animals.
She (Junebug) was positioned incorrectly in the womb for many months and was born with severe scoliosis, culminating with a left shoulder presentation at birth. (somehow, both mom and calf survived this 😳)
She is 5 weeks old this weekend and her will to live joyfully is strong.
She is receiving at least twice weekly Dolphining, along with daily use of Young Living essential oils (Raindrop for those of you familiar with that), daily PT sessions, and once a week chiro. She has a ways to go yet on independent mobility, but each day she is straighter, stronger, and sturdier.
The first pic is of her at 10 days old. The second pic is of her at 5 weeks old.

Spiritual Knowledge Weekend 2024

Liz James · September 27, 2024 ·

Final preps today for this weekend’s conference (so looking forward to seeing some of you there!…. Terry, Melissa, Melissa, Melissa (all 3 of you! 😍), Tammy, Sandra, I Will Stand International / Andrea , Andee, Sonya, and so many others! It’s going to be a life changing/ life giving weekend!

Knowledge is always optional…… tho destruction can be avoided and a temple can be rebuilt if knowledge is gained and applied 🙏 !

Co-workers and Stress Levels

Liz James · March 16, 2024 ·

When Charlie (my husband) comes home from work, he frequently says, “What did you and your co-workers discuss today?”
The transition from being a corporate pharmacist employee to becoming my own boss and entrepreneur in late 2020 was quite the transition. I’m sure many of you can relate. Going from employee to self-employed requires an enormous mind shift, and that’s typically not something that either happens overnight or comes naturally after being conditioned to be an employee for 40-something years (I started my first tax-paying job when I was 14🥹).
My farm family truly are also my co-workers. They keep me sane. This is Daisy. She’s a Great Pyrenees Border Collie cross. She had a few homes that didn’t work out before she came to live with us permanently several years ago. An LGD/BC cross, although beautiful, can be a hard mental life for a dog. There are two mindsets potentially in conflict:
“Do I herd, or do I protect?” That genetic urge to be both can result in stress for the dog (and often for an owner too. Hence, the multiple homes before she came here.)
She’s actually really good at both of those jobs, and we’ve been able to find ways to help her “find herself”, and also use her gifts accordingly.
She’s as devoted as they come, and I have no doubt she would come to my rescue if ever needed her(much like some of the other dogs in our pack).
So Daisy’s job here on the farm: She’s head of security. 😉
She and the others are also my stress relievers. Studies have shown repeatedly that dogs (and other animals) improve mood, reduce blood pressure, lower levels of cortisol which decreases stress on the body, and boost levels of oxytocin (a hormone that is associated with love and trust). Gimme a farm full of animals any day over a handful of medication to accomplish all that goodness!
PS: Daisy’s favorite oil: Peace and Calming 💖🐶🌿.
Here’s a link to a recent study on the effects dogs can have on our emotional health: https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0298384
Do you have a “co-worker” at home? What’s their job title? Drop a pic! 🥰

Health Consequences

Liz James · February 22, 2024 ·

I was pondering this question earlier today 🤔….because there are soooooo many things I would have done differently back in the day if I only had known then what I know now. #healthconsequences
I finally settled upon this one: I was diagnosed with endometriosis in about 1983…. Honestly, I was probably among the first to get that diagnosis (because it wasn’t “a thing” back then). I was 16 years old. My doctor put me on birth control pills to control the endo, and we (my parents and I) never questioned the safety of them, especially long term. I was on them for a VERY LONG time. If I had known then what I know now, I would have told my younger self to explore all other non-prescriptive options ( and there are holistic options out there ) but avoid birth control at all costs.
What would it be if you could tell your younger self to do something differently concerning your health?

Pelvic Floor Education

Liz James · January 8, 2024 ·

Most of us don’t think twice about how our pelvic floor functions. We just take it for granted that it does…… until it doesn’t. 😭🥹🥲
I encourage you to check in with Miranda / Infinite Radiance Wellness. She is a PT with a passion for education and healing in all things pelvic floor. (And if you don’t exactly know what your pelvic for is and does, go learn from her… you won’t regret it!)
xoxo~ liz
