Combat Colds or Flus

Liz James · December 29, 2022 ·

I’ve read a few articles now recently on the shortage of cold and flu products on the shelves of pharmacies. I can think of at least 2 dozen ways to combat colds or flu, and none of them involve the chemicals missing on these shelves. ❤️🌿❤️ And there’s no shortage 🌿 😉.
Perhaps you’ve recently stumbled across my page or this might be the first time you’ve ever thought about something outside of using “itchy, sneezy, stuffy head so you can rest medicine” from the pharmacy.
Perhaps you are a little dubious.
If the shelves are a little barren, this might be the time to learn a new trick or two. Self reliance is becoming more and more important, as is being part of a community that teaches others how to be self reliant too.
My dad gave me some great advice. This is one of his nuggets…..The best time to learn to change a tire is not when the tire is flat. The best time to change a tire, is when you have time to learn how to change a tire. 😉 Come kick some tires with me.

Ivermectin Safety- Tennessee

Liz James · December 27, 2022 ·

While traveling to teach in Ohio earlier this month, I had a long stop in Tennessee to attend the Rogue Food Conference ( https://roguefoodconference.com/ ). While there, I met and talked to Tennessee State Senator Frank Nicely                                    https://www.facebook.com/SenatorFrankNiceley/ . He is one of us 🙏❤️🇺🇸….. and thankfully working to keep medical freedom for Tennesseeans. He introduced a bill to allow over the counter sales of Ivermectin (ie: available in human form without a prescription) to the good people (or those who travel there) of Tennessee.

I’m not a fan of most medication, but this one is one loaded with merit, and worthy of keeping on hand in case it’s needed.
Is it safe?🤔 Let’s look at some data-

Epoch times article on Ivermectin Safety

Here are the cliff notes version:
1. A study of 63 other studies of ivermectin vs C-19 in humans showed 100% positive results.
2. The 63 studies were from every continent except Antarctica (ie: worldwide data sample)
3. The combined analysis of the 63 studies showed a 69% improvement when Ivermectin was used as early treatment, and an 86% efficacy when used prophylactically.
4. 31 African countries close to the equator have had relatively few issues with the ‘rona. Perhaps this is because they use ivermectin on the regular to prevent a parasite that causes river blindness. 🧐🤓
5. Ivermectin, is considered one of the safest of all medications available and there are no known serious drug-related adverse effects.

This is a good one to keep on hand friends. And if you are passing thru Tennessee, find a pharmacy… it’s reasonably priced…. mention Senate Bill 2188 if needed. (here’s a link to the the bill: https://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/BillInfo/Default.aspx… )

Lavender & Bergamot Help Anxiety

Liz James · December 22, 2022 ·

Interesting article on lavender and bergamot use (3 times a day for 8 weeks) in a study involving 50-60yr old menopausal women who were experiencing menopause related “moderate anxiety and some sexual dysfunction”, but were otherwise healthy. (I am interpreting this to mean they did thorough labwork beforehand… key point! ☝️…. otherwise they might be overlooking a bigger fish that needed frying!)

https://tomnikkola.com/effects-of-lavender-and-bergamot…/

This is not a one size fits all situation. Everyone is different and labwork offers a personalized trail. This doesn’t mean labwork or lavender/bergamot alone are singular answers to a potentially complex problem…. but perhaps they might be in some cases. 😉 Lavender and bergamot are stellar oils (but only when they are high quality ones such as Young Living’s, and when they are used with purposeful regularity for this particular situation). Imagine the women (and their spouses and families😉) who might be relieved by something so simple as using lavender and bergamot three times a day. Labwork, lavender and bergamot are infinitely safer than most modern world common “solutions”.

Other items I’ve personally found helpful for keeping me younger than my chronological years (in addition to regular and purposeful exercise, healthy diet, and adequate sleep!) : Alternating between Young Living’s Femigen and PD 80/20 capsules, Progessence Plus serum used nightly, and of course…. Sensation Massage oil 🥰. Everyone is different, but menopause doesn’t have to be an unpleasant period of life.

Worth the try? You bet! (link to Lavender and Bergamot…. and Sensation Massage oil) 👉 bit.ly/3Wl2XMq

Energy Medicine

Liz James · December 20, 2022 ·

Energy medicine.
It’s not hooey science🧞…. it’s biology and physics 🤓.

We are electric beings after all. The heart and brain are measured electrically in Western Medicine…… no picking and choosing. If you believe in EKG’s and EEG’s, then you believe in energy medicine.

Dr. Konstantin Korotkov (physicist) has been studying the effects that a body’s energy field has on an individual’s health for many years.
Illness and emotions such as love and anger affect this energy field we each have.

Cliffnotes version:
❤Love, joy, and positivity have a positive influence on a body’s electrical circuitry. Likewise, anger, frustration and negativity do just what you might imagine….. they can literally make you sick.
❤Our attitudes (positive or negative) affect our outcomes, and they also affect the wellbeing of others. In farmgirl lingo, a bad apple can spoil the whole bushel. Don’t allow someone’s bad vibes affect your own. (For the record…. vibes = energy. Energy by very definition is motion of “us” at a molecular level 😎).
❤️Bonus bits: Sounds affect our body’s energy either positively or negatively. So do smells….. just one of the reasons Young Living essential oils are so effective in doing what they do.
❤️Genesis 1 says that the Spirit of God hovered (energy) over the waters and He spoke (energy) everything into existence. Can you imagine the pure love that was poured into the creation of the heavens and the earth? What that must have felt like to the earth’s inhabitants? I can’t even imagine what that vibrational frequency felt like. What a blissful existence! 🙏❤️🥰

Don’t underestimate the power of your own body’s frequency to harm or heal yourself or others. It’s our secret superpower! Don’t let it go to waste 😉.

Happy Maple Syrup Day

Liz James · December 18, 2022 ·

Two types of souvenirs I love collecting on road trips……. local honey and maple syrup! Both are loaded with health benefits❤️
My most recent trip to Ohio yielded some delicious finds, along with a stop in Tennesee (bourbon barrel aged maple syrup😋).
Oh, and Trader Joe’ currently has a seasonal Organic Maple Vinaigrette that is delish!!
Do you cook and bake with maple syrup or honey instead of sugar? What’s one of your favorite ways to use either?
