Happy February friends! February 1st finds me at a Faith and Medicine conference in Georgia, and it is a fascinating, beautiful, and educational experience…… many of the speakers are MD’s with profound stories and wisdom they have shared. As a Christian, I know that the ultimate source of Joy in my heart and Peace and Calming in my soul and Inner Beauty come from Jesus alone.
But I also know these things too…. even when we lean in to Jesus, we still have to “do the things” here on earth to help our body cope with what it does and doesn’t have in order to function properly…. sometimes it needs a little assist in the neurotransmitter dept, and in others, we need help in the physical (what we can see). All this to say, YL stands in the gap for us, and this month’s gifts with purchase reflect (from my perspective), some of the gifts we also get freely by leaning into Jesus
