It’s almost like our food system has the same problem as our US Citizen travel vs Illegal Immigration.
Thank you OrganicEye for not only bringing this subject to our attention but also for FIGHTING for truth and fairness in the organic food industry. This is an obscene use of greenwashing and government-sanctioned persecution of US Organic farmers who are working so hard to provide for us. They are being regulated to death while their foreign counterparts are given basically a free pass. (I’ll post the full article in the comments below).

On one hand, when a US Citizen flies 
(one of the many reasons I don’t fly anymore), we have to prove who we are, perhaps prove our “health”, have “weapon like” travel-sized scissors and such confiscated, get scanned, groped, and irradiated and our luggage perhaps searched and always x-rayed.

Bonus points …. we pay big bucks for this “privilege”.

We citizens of the USA are really no different than a bunch of organic grapes grown in the USA (versus the “same” grapes that are imported from another country).
