โ€œVictory in the Senate โ€“ Letโ€™s Keep the Momentum for Medical Freedom!โ€

Liz James · April 7, 2025 ·

Are you following any state bills related to improving health and healthcare this legislative season? If so, which one(s) in your state?
ย
Kudos to the Texas Senate on passing unanimously SB25 (labeling of dangerous food additives),
and on SB125 (preserves the right to directed blood donation). I’ve been working hard on this for 2 years now. ๐Ÿ™ #medicalfreedom
ย
Now….. both of these bills have to also make it through the House affirmatively. Please pray! (And I’ll be praying for the bills you are rooting for in your state)

Not normally a fan of CNN, but it’s encouraging to see them post positively about this! https://www.cnn.com/…/food-dye-bans-states…/index.html

Eggs & Immunity: A Surprising Link to Blocking Spike Proteins

Liz James · February 28, 2025 ·

I am a huge fan of free range eggs (especially from my own happy hens ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ’–).
This is an interesting study in light of the egg shortage……
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33191178/ (Title of the study: Chicken Egg Yolk Antibodies (IgYs) block the binding of multiple SARS-CoV-2 spike protein variants to human ACE2 ).
The ACE-2 receptor sites are extremely attractive binding sites for the spike proteins to “sit” and create mayhem and damage (which lead to symptoms) in the body (especially in the gut, blood vessel interior walls, heart, lungs, brain, kidneys, (and in men, testis).
Just somethin’ to think about as we put the pieces of our environmental puzzle together. What happens in our environment has a direct effect on health, right? Keep finding and eating those eggs! Flu season is loaded with corona virus types which produce spike proteins….. not just the bioweaponized one we’re all so familiar with.
Carry on, and happy Friday! xoxo~ liz

Red Dye #3: A Toxic Timeline of Health Risks and Lobbyist Influence

Liz James · January 16, 2025 ·

The FDA has announced today that it is revoking the use of FD&C Red No. 3 because it is linked to causing cancer in lab rats (a known issue for decades and already banned in many other countries). Of course, the International Association of Color Manufacturers is upset about this, and says it safe ๐Ÿ™„. Wanna bet they’ve had a really active lobbyist or two up in Washington DC helping the FDA make decisions that impact our health for the last many years?
Let’s talk about Red Dye #3….. Not only does it cause cancer in lab rats, it’s also known to:
โŽ be linked to genetic changes which negatively affect immune response
โŽcan damage liver cells and alter the DNA of liver cells within 4 hours of exposure
โŽ may contribute to ADHD symptoms
โŽ affect thyroid function (leading to cancer)
Nontoxic red dyes have been used for thousands of years with dyes coming from natural sources: beet juice, purple sweet potatoes, and red cabbage are just three edibles and ARE currently being used as healthy food dyes.
Note: Red dye #3 is also currently used by pharma….. so anything with a pink or red tinge to it likely is suspect. According to the FDA, Pharma will not be required to phase out their use of red dye until 2028 (pharma lobbyists be lobbying over there in DC!).
Another note: Clearly, the cosmetics industry was not up on its lobbyist game back in 1990…..that’s when the FDA declined to allow Red #3 in cosmetics because it was potentially dangerous. (If you are having to reread this, I agree….. make this whole timeline make sense๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ™„).

Skip The Nitrates, Not The Ham

Liz James · December 20, 2024 ·

Good morning friends! If a Christmas ham is on your menu this coming week, be sure to buy a variety that does not contain chemicals (specifically nitrates). Sodium nitrate reacts with the acid in a person’s stomach to form nitrosamines- one of the most cancer causing agents known (esophageal, liver, stomach, kidney, pancreatic, colorectal, and others). Regular consumption of nitrates may also increase the risk of type II diabetes (think sliced deli sandwich meats, hot dogs etc)
ย
Interestingly, there have been over 1400 medication recalls in the last several years because of nitrosamine formation that has occurred during the production process of medications in some batches of medication (eg: metformin, ranitidine, losartan, valsartan, and other ARB’s are some of the more common ones). The FDA says nitrosamines are safe in small doses, but I am more of the mindset that if you know something is cancer causing, isn’t it best just to avoid it as best as you can? Small doses add up if you are taking them daily! (and it’s just one more reason to work to avoid medications whenever possible and use botanicals or holistic/ alternative methods of healing whenever possible ๐Ÿ™)
ย
If finding a local pasture raised ham isn’t feasible, here are some brands that are Nitrate free:
Naked Bacon
Applegate
Boar’s Head
Jones Dairy Farm
Wellshire Farms
Happy Friday!
