Another Throwback Tuesday! I love these precious memories of my wildlings. Henri was with us for many years (ha ha…. if you see the old Mindwise bottle label you’ll be able to approximately date this picture). Henri was raised on raw milk and NingXia Red. She eventually became an “outdoor” squirrel, and lived on our porch wild and free as an adult with us for many years.
This 2019 memory came up in a private group I’m in and I wanted to share it here. Never ever underestimate the power of determination, love, frequency work and essential oils.
Dolphining (Dolphin MPS) animals… we don’t have many posts on here (the private group I am in) regarding this topic, and I wanted to share these pics of a calf of ours that had a very challenging birth in June. Perhaps it will encourage someone else in their work with animals.
She (Junebug) was positioned incorrectly in the womb for many months and was born with severe scoliosis, culminating with a left shoulder presentation at birth. (somehow, both mom and calf survived this )
She is 5 weeks old this weekend and her will to live joyfully is strong.
She is receiving at least twice weekly Dolphining, along with daily use of Young Living essential oils (Raindrop for those of you familiar with that), daily PT sessions, and once a week chiro. She has a ways to go yet on independent mobility, but each day she is straighter, stronger, and sturdier.
The first pic is of her at 10 days old. The second pic is of her at 5 weeks old.
Yesterday morning I came up with one teenage chicken short when I went out to feed. I found the poor thing 3/4 slimed (and dead) after an attempted swallow by a snake who thought he/she could eat said teenage chicken, and then changed its mind when it realized said teenage chicken was too big. Snake’s eyes were bigger than his/her mouth.
So frustrating (not to mention sad)
I’m giving something new a try in the coop. Last night I sprinkled cinnamon bark oil on all the roosting areas (smelled amazing btw).
No casualties noted this morning…. so I’m just gonna continue this practice for awhile until said teenage chickens are bigger.
Has anyone else used cinnamon oil successfully for this endeavor?
Are y’all watching the Animal Summit 2024? It’s included in your annual summit membership. I love that we have access to these videos year-round and they are LOADED with information on how to navigate holistic animal care with confidence and ease!
It is a game changer for our farm…. having saved us thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars over the years in animal care (not to mention the LIVES I am confident I have saved … and lengthened by using holistic care with our sweet farm-ily).
