Good morning friends! 2020 has given us an unexpected load of “bonus” toxins☠️ in the form of excessive disinfectant use. #ugh “They” are squirting, spraying, fogging, and wiping down surfaces (including our hands and our lungs!) in an effort to comply with recommendations given by governing entities, but at what cost long term?
In pharmacy, there is something called risk versus benefit. We are ALL being exposed to this risk (and it is risky…. unprecedentedly so!) as businesses and schools are now disinfecting sometimes even hourly during operating hours.
We are the ultimate CEO’s of our bodies, and nobody is going to be there to pick up the pieces of this over exposure except for us.🙋‍♀️🙋🙋‍♂️If you’d like to begin making amends with your 2020 toxin load, I’d like to invite you to a class…..

Young living holiday catalog

OK, now that October is over, I’m willing to move into the Christmas mindset! I have holiday boundaries, dont’cha know? 😉
The Young Living Christmas catalog will re-open for business on the 9th of November. Have you taken the time to flip thru the catalog virtually? It reminds me of those old days (think 1970’s) when I got all giddy going thru the Sears and Roebucks Christmas catalog that came out every year about this time. 😍 #makingalistandcheckingittwice
The YL catalog is beautiful (as it is every year!), but I’m especially delighted to see the focus is largely on helping so many thru partnerships we have within the nonprofit Young Living Foundation. #purposedriven

Goldenrod

Good morning friends! Yesterday as I was driving home, I passed a large section of what I thought was ragweed. I stopped, hopped out, and snapped a pic….. (planning on writing about allergies). I Googled ragweed and lo and behold, I’m fairly certain what I had snapped a pic of was our highly esteemed Goldenrod!
This got me to thinking… and I messaged my friend Danette. Neither of us was 100% certain it was even tho it definitely looks like it. 😂 #weareamateurbotanists
This little scenario made me value Young Living and all of their science and attention to detail even more so….. I mean, who wants to guess on a plant like this? It could mean the difference between effectiveness or a bad rash 😳. #wherethesundoesntshine

I also love how God gave us plants that have healing powers often just in the season that we may need it.

Most of us YL’ers know Goldenrod as that magical bedroom oil💖☝️………But it’s so much more than that! #alloilsaremultipurpose

Stain Remedy

Once again, I am grateful for Thieves Household Cleaner. I had a little accident this weekend and dried blood used to be one of those hard to treat stains on laundry day. #notanymore
Cynda Western Felini had given me this t-shirt, and it’s one of my faves…. so I said a little prayer before dousing it with THHC, letting it sit for about 5 min, and then throwing it in the wash!

Critter Crate Care

Dog crates are used for many things on a farm….. you just never know what kind of critter you’ll have to be either caretaking or transporting. 🐰🐔🐍🐢🐱🐀#truth
Birds are fairly sensitive to toxins, and I’ve used this recipe with great success both in the coop and when cleaning transport crates.
Note: it also works well for kitty litter boxes AND, once you have the spray mixed up (I personally just use 8 oz of water + the other ingredients), you can use it as a misting spray over your kitty litter if it is a little stinky on occasion. #poopourri
