We (the USA) spend more money on “healthcare” care than any other country in the world, yet we are among the sickest. The biggest reason for this is that a person forfeits their health when they hand over their care to someone else without asking lots and lots and lots of questions first, during, and always.🤓
 
We are our own best advocates.
 
Yes, it requires some work. All good things do.😉
 
No, you don’t have to be an expert. Just a willingness to learn and listen to how your own body speaks.
 
Yes, it is helpful to have a mentor or coach who has a strong background or license. “Coach” is a term used very loosely these days. A coach can have a sandlot team or an NFL status. Choose wisely.
 
No, it’s not expensive. Being chronically sick IS tho. It’s much easier to reverse a process earlier rather than later.
 
You can do it. The question is…. when are you ready to?

Since leaving a traditional pharmacy job in September 2020, I never would have dreamed I’d be wearing so many hats on a daily basis (and loving each one of them!). Tips for Your Blood Draw Day

I’m entering into my 5th year of helping people with their labwork, including my own. Yesterday morning was my annual blood draw….. 14 vials🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸 later. I’m not gonna lie, after 14 vials I can feel a little lightheaded. I prepped this morning and immediately after the blood draw, I drank 6 oz of NingXia Red 🥤and then had breakfast……….. and THEN did a full cardio🦵💪🫁🫀 workout at the gym (I failed at that last year, because I felt too weak… but I also didn’t drink the NingXia😉). Still feeling strong and not the least bit woozy!
 
PRO Tip…… use your NingXia Red for rapid recovery! It works in more situations than blood draws 😉.

Chronic Irritability and Anger

The body doesn’t lie.
 
If you struggle with either occasional or chronic bouts of anger/irritability, check yourself…… your mind or body may be telling your something.
 
Common causes of irritability include: sleep deprivation, low blood sugar, underlying toothaches, certain respiratory disorders, medication, depression, anxiety, hormonal imbalance, and thyroid disorders are just a few.
 
Left unchecked, chronic irritability and anger can also lead to disease or aggravate a known condition. The constant rush of stress chemicals in the body are linked to migraines, insomnia, anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, auto immune disorder flares, eczema, heart disease, strokes and digestive disorders (among other things).
 
Come to yoga. You won’t regret leaving your “heavy” at the door.
