From Blindness to 20/20: My Aunt’s Incredible Eye Health Journey! 👀❤️

Liz James · February 19, 2025 ·

Y’all, I’d like to introduce you to my precious Aunt and tell you about our phone call yesterday.
We have a strong family history of an eye disease called macular degeneration. My grandmother (her mom) went blind from it about 10 years before she passed away. Both my Mom and my Aunt have it, and have for several years. My Aunt was diagnosed a few years ago with cataracts on top of the macular degeneration. This apparently compounds things and can make cataracts surgery a little more complicated. My Aunt waited until she was almost completely blind before finally agreeing to the cataract surgery (they did each eye separately, about 6 weeks apart)
About 3 or 4 years ago, I encouraged my Aunt to start taking NingXia Red and Illumineyes daily in an effort to help salvage whatever we could on her eyes. She has been so faithful in taking both daily……
Well!!!!! She has been telling me how much better she is seeing after her cataract surgeries, and I totally imagine that she was, but I had no idea…. yesterday she called me after her Dr’s appointment. Not only did the doctor tell her she has 20/20 vision, but they also can find no evidence of the Macular Degeneration! (This is largely considered an incurable eye disease).
They asked her to take the vision test twice😉…. and then she told them she drinks a red drink 😉 and takes a red pill to help with her eyesight.
Love your peepers friends!

February Gifts From 2025 Young Living

Liz James · February 1, 2025 ·

Happy February friends! February 1st finds me at a Faith and Medicine conference in Georgia, and it is a fascinating, beautiful, and educational experience…… many of the speakers are MD’s with profound stories and wisdom they have shared. As a Christian, I know that the ultimate source of Joy in my heart and Peace and Calming in my soul and Inner Beauty come from Jesus alone.
But I also know these things too…. even when we lean in to Jesus, we still have to “do the things” here on earth to help our body cope with what it does and doesn’t have in order to function properly…. sometimes it needs a little assist in the neurotransmitter dept, and in others, we need help in the physical (what we can see). All this to say, YL stands in the gap for us, and this month’s gifts with purchase reflect (from my perspective), some of the gifts we also get freely by leaning into Jesus❤️🙏!
Joy
Peace and Calming
Inner Beauty (which glows outwardly😉❤️)
What a month of beautiful reminders!
xoxo~ liz

Beating Illness Before It Beats You: How to Recover Fast with Natural Remedies

Liz James · January 29, 2025 ·

Yesterday was not a good day. By 5pm, I could tell that I had been hit with something bad. By 7pm, I had fever and chills and I ached all over… especially my head.
Tomorrow, I’m headed out of town for a conference in Georgia with Kim, and meeting Ellen once we get there. We are representing BBHB, and I’ve got no time for being sick.
It’s situations like this that underscore the importance of having all the things ready to go. If you don’t have it handy, it’s probably gonna be too late by the time you get it. Often a horrible awful extended time of illness can be avoided by hitting it hard as soon as you know something is amiss.
These were my big hitters over the last 24hrs. Inner Defense, Iver, Engystol (a homeopathic), and Thieves (and a long session of infrared therapy and prayer!).
I’m about 90% better this afternoon, and should be fired up and ready to go by tomorrow morning. Thank goodness!!! I know people who’ve had this nonsense for a couple of weeks. Acting quickly, I was able to kick it to the curb in 24hrs! 🙌🙌
