I mentioned Vitamin D two days ago. Roughly 42% of the US population is deficient according to Western Medicine standards (below 30 ng/ml). There’s a big difference between being barely “ok” according to these standards and having healthy levels (optimal levels should be 60-80ng/ml). I suspect 75-80% of the US population is not within optimal levels.

Make sure you know your lab values for Vitamin D, and make sure you are supplementing if needed. Adequate levels sure makes life more pleasant!
