“Victory in the Senate – Let’s Keep the Momentum for Medical Freedom!”

Liz James · April 7, 2025 ·

Are you following any state bills related to improving health and healthcare this legislative season? If so, which one(s) in your state?

Kudos to the Texas Senate on passing unanimously SB25 (labeling of dangerous food additives),
and on SB125 (preserves the right to directed blood donation). I’ve been working hard on this for 2 years now. 🙏 #medicalfreedom

Now….. both of these bills have to also make it through the House affirmatively. Please pray! (And I’ll be praying for the bills you are rooting for in your state)

Not normally a fan of CNN, but it’s encouraging to see them post positively about this! https://www.cnn.com/…/food-dye-bans-states…/index.html

Young Living April Gifts 2025

Liz James · April 2, 2025 ·

April is here! Lordy….. time is flying in 2025! I don’t know about you guys, but March came in like a lion and it shows no signs of letting up for me. I’m super excited to see these freebies that focus on energy!

Orange: It’s truly a “happy oil” (and so is Lushious Lemon!)…. remember, those citrus fragrances are really important natural “prompters” for elevating mood. You can subtly improve your mood at home or in the office by infusing the air with positive zesty vibes. We have the tools! (now use ’em! 😉💪#sunshineinabottle )

Lushious Lemon: This isn’t just lemon 🍋🍋🍋 on steroids…. nope. It is a blend that makes everyone happy. (I know a couple of businesses that use it as their signature scent…. used to create both a positive memory and a pleasing environment). Remember too.. we are working with oils that have hidden super powers. While all those around you might just be appreciating the fresh clean aroma of diffused Lushious Lemon, you will know you are doing your part in your little corner of the world by helping to relax the mind and body while also creating an uncomfortable environment for certain strains of bad bacteria 😉. Teamwork in a bottle!

Super B! In a world of hectic-ness, our bodies can start to struggle a bit with keeping up, especially prone to fatigue are our adrenal glands and thyroid. While Super B works throughout the body filling the “B” needs, it’s especially helpful for those two little small but mighty gland pairs! (Pro Tip: Take in the morning or take in the early afternoon. For some people, taking late in the day may actually contribute to restless sleep).

Finally, Don’t forget! ……Spring Launch (I hear that 4 new products will be released) is this Saturday! Keep an eye out for details 😉. (I’m wondering what those 4 new products could be? 🤔💖🌿)

“What’s Really in That Shot? Why Informed Consent Matters in the Age of Biologics”

Liz James · March 25, 2025 ·

A question we ask on our www.blessedbyhisblood.com membership questionnaire is this:

Have you used or been given an injectable product since 2020?

There is far more to the world of pharma than just synthetically derived drugs. The new-ish (and rapidly growing) class of medications known as biologics often contains cells or products derived from various animal forms—including humans.

(Side note: Did you know the vast majority of donated blood products collected in the U.S. are sold overseas to big pharma and research companies? And we wonder why they say there’s a blood shortage in local communities… 🙄)

More and more people are waking up to this, but the vast majority still assume that whatever is being given to them by the medical establishment is safe—and that someone else has done a proper risk assessment on their behalf.

If you believe you have the right to choose what does and does not go into your body, it behooves you to understandwhat a product actually is… and what you might unintentionally be doing to your body.

We frequently get questions from mamas wondering what to do when their doctor tells them they need a RhoGAM shot. My friend Alexandra (author of the amazing book Well Considered) outlines true informed consent regarding this topic—both on her website,  Just The Inserts, and in a downloadable PDF.

Only you can decide what’s best for you.

xoxo,
Liz

Is Your Antidepressant Just a Band-Aid? Why Root Cause Healing Matters

Liz James · March 24, 2025 ·

One of the pharmacy facts I am passionate about getting people to understand is this: EVERY medication out there only addresses symptoms… not root cause. And only addressing symptoms without addressing the cause would be like continuously patching cracks in a wall without addressing the shifting cracked foundation of a house.
We are so unique. Each one of us. In mind, body, spirit, soul, emotions, experiences. Mental health medications aren’t about “fixing” the problem….. they are the patch on the crack-y wall without addressing the foundational problem (which could be something as complex as a childhood trauma, lack of community, a toxicity, or something as seemingly simple as a nutrient deficiency).
To be clear, in my opinion, most mental health drugs should be listed as a type of drug very similar to drugs with addictive potential. No, your body will not ever “crave” Prozac, Lexapro or anything else in the SSRI or other psych med categories, but once you’ve been on them for a period of time, it can be incredibly hard to get off of them because your body and brain become rewired to depend on the medication. It then takes a fierce desire to correct that dependency, and that fierce desire includes working on oneself in all the areas ….mind, body, and spirit.
SSRI’s are by far the most common class of mental health meds. Roughly 1 in 6 people in the USA take them not knowing or understanding the ramifications of taking them long term. Informed Consent is so very important (and required by law, but rarely enforced 🙄 even if something goes really wrong… part of our broken medical system). How often does a doctor tell their patients what I just said above? 👆 How often does a doctor explain that what they’d like to do, with the patient’s cooperation, is to give them an opportunity to get to the root cause of mental health issues (with help from avenues of mind, body, and spirit professionals), perhaps agreeing to use medication on the short term to get over a hump but with the understanding that the medication would be used as a short term tool to be used while discovering the root cause and then healing from the traumas, toxicities, and/or deficiencies the body is experiencing. (I have much much more to say about this, but I would be writing a novel).
I have so much compassion for people walking through mental health crises, coupled with a desire to see people truly healed and walking in freedom….. and that won’t happen with long term use of these meds. In fact, over time, studies have repeatedly shown that one med will translate to multiple medications because of the side effect profiles.
You are worth doing the behind the scenes work. We all are 💖.
xoxo~ liz
(Please read this article written by a medical doctor for a better understanding. I don’t encourage anyone to cold turkey stop their medications, or to do so without the help of their preferred medical professional)
