More Intervention

Liz James · April 20, 2020 ·

With all of the recent scramble and scurry to develop a vaccine for the CV, I’ve been pretty deep into study mode.

πŸ“š I uncovered quite a bit of interesting information today, and wanted to bring you a few interesting tidbits and thoughts over the next few days….

I find it fascinating that, during the daily White House press briefings, there is nearly always a bit of discussion which revolves around tried and true “older” therapies that warrant some attention. #Babysbeeninthecorner

Hydroxychloroquine is the star player, of course, during these discussions…. it’s the man made cousin of quinine… which comes from the bark of the cinchona tree.

Pharmacognosy (the study of plants 🌿 with a medicinal purpose) is tremendously important. Really, it’s where the roots of pharmacy lie. The problem is that natural healing agents cannot be patented (as a rule), so there is no large money to be had by Big Pharma in pursuing treatments derived solely from plants.  #BigPharmabelievesinprofitbeforepurpose

Quinine was banned as an “Over The Counter” (OTC) supplement in the 90’s because it was deemed “dangerous”, despite the fact that it has been around for, well…. as long as there have been cinchona trees πŸ˜‰.

As more and more information is revealed about hydroxychloroquine (and quinine) , it appears there are more studies (deeply buried) suggesting other beneficial uses too. Fascinating stuff!… especially when you dig beyond the superficial.#dontbeafraidtodig

I’m hopeful that this pandemic will bring more of these uses to light and perhaps bring relief to some who have fairly significant disease states.

Hydroxychloroquine is not a drug without potential for harm, but certainly, given the pandemic situation, its benefits outweigh the risk for short term use, particularly for those whose lives depend on it.

To be clear, I’m not a fan of using medications as a crutch when self intervention could hold the cure (I’m not talking about CV here). However, sometimes medications can be used as a springboard for serious self intervention.

What does self intervention mean?  We (us… all of us) are the ultimate responsible ones for our health… not our spouse, not our doctor, not our government. Self intervention is pretty simple…. it means caring enough about oneself to care FOR oneself:

Has diet been modified and improved upon to eliminate processed and / or non organic foods as well as any foods that may be triggers for poor health?

πŸ’ͺ Is regular and correct exercise being implemented as a regular routine?

 Is stress being well managed?

☠️ Have toxins been removed as much as possible from the lifestyle? This would include common housecleaning supplies, body care products and makeup that are typically loaded with them. It also includes limiting exposure to electromagnetic frequencies πŸ’».

All of this matters a great deal. Relying on a medication long term will nearly ALWAYS have consequences in the manner of side effects and developed deficiencies the drugs will inevitably cause.

Self care is much like prepping, but without all of the extra toilet paper rolls stashed in the closet. πŸ˜‰ I would argue that self care is a prepper’s most important project. Someone who has practiced self care for any length of time has a stronger immune system AND a level of confidence in their health that trumps fear. And THAT is perhaps the most important prepper’s tool of all…. the absence of fear.

More on this topic tomorrow.

Carry on my friends. Let’s make this quarantine time count for something positive. 😘 Happy Sunday evening!

xoxo~ liz

Liz James · April 18, 2020 ·

Ya’ll have a great weekend! It’s been 80+ degrees here this week…. cray cray weather, even for north Texas in February. It’s been a record breaking warm winter and I’m sure hoping there isn’t one more freeze…. my fruit trees are starting to bloom! #oilyfarmsquirrel #prayingmakeslifebetter #henrithesquirrel

What is Truth

Liz James · April 17, 2020 ·

It seems like every time I blink there is a new twist to the news, new theories, new “important people” telling us how to act, do, be, and think.

I was fortunate to grow up in a family that didn’t cling to TV at all. Kitchen table discussion and books πŸ“š were our indoor activities. My grandparents did this, and so did my parents. They taught us to be independent thinkers and not rely on commercials or the news (that was back in the 70’s and 80’s).

Solid news is even harder to find these days. I qualify “solid” as being able to trace a piece of information back to a peer reviewed study (that wasn’t paid for by BIG money), or by tracing a fact backwards til you get to the core. Does what was said actually have feet to stand on…. or was it theory or emotion or partially (but patently) untrue?

I find “half truths” to be especially annoying in the news. πŸ™…β€β™€οΈ Half truths are even worse than solid lies because (akin to Satan), quite a bit of footwork is done to deceive someone on purpose by making them accept a concept as wholy true based on a tiny bit of fact… filling the rest in as purely fictitious.

Because y’all….. we want to believe that people are honest and kind.

News is not a game, nor should it be historical fiction. We need unbiased facts…. Our very LIVES depend on accurate information and we are just not receiving it. Clickbait.

😱 Worst economic drop since……
😱 Bye bye Handshakes……
😱 Welcome to face masks, our new normal……
😱 33,000 deaths in the US due to…….
NONE of these headlines are fully true BTW if you investigate them. They contain a shred of truth, but whole truth is much bigger. You HAVE to look at the context of everything spoken and written.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I’ll give a news source a good chance, but I’ll do my due diligence in the process. If I catch a source in a fabrication they do not get a second chance.

News should be to investigative truth, not a click-bait designed to ultimately cause anxiety, fear, physiological stress, and sleeping difficulties. (THIS is a fact on which you can do your own research ).

Where do you all go for news these days? Lemme know if you’ve found other reliable sources out there….’cause I’m always looking.

My current “go to’s” are independent journalists, a newspaper called Epoch Times, and the daily afternoon press briefings from the White House.

hugs and love friends~ liz

Quarantina

Liz James · April 16, 2020 ·

In this strange world we’re currently living in, I don’t care if you are an introvert or an extrovert, there’s something to be said for individual freedom. I’m missing mine, and I’m sure I’m not alone in that sentiment!

Charlie (my husband) is an extrovert now working predominately from home… he’s missing his social time that comes with working in a group office.

I am an introvert and working predominately at home (except when I’m wearing my white coat) is my jam and comfort zone.

We are all adapting aren’t we?

Don’t forget to use your tools and oil up! … remember, specific oil blends do help to:

πŸ‘‰ drive energy up πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ …..or down 😴

πŸ‘‰ create sunny 🌞 dispositions when your housemates might feel stormy.

πŸ‘‰ help brains function when they’d rather be in bed

Even as adults… there are times we’d rather just crawl into bed and hug our blankies. And that’s ok…. just don’t make a habit of it! 😘 This is a time of stillness in our lives we will likely never experience again together.

Reflect. Reset. Rejuvenate. Recover. Renew.
You’ve got this!

xoxo~ liz

Hydroxychloroquine?

Liz James · April 13, 2020 ·

Morning friends…. I wanted to share this very important study with you all.
My pharmacist brain has been on overdrive in an attempt to get to the bottom of the real reason why a non antiviral medication (hydroxychlorquine) actually works to cure a virus. So strange.
If you’ve hung around my page here for the last month or so, you’ll have read my posts and hopefully seen my video on 5geee (yes, I’ve had to resort to code now. “They” are hiding and/or removing posts like these. Apparently when you are over the πŸŽ―, it’s not a popular thing for FB policeπŸ˜‰).
Anyway, my theory as to how hydroxychloroquine actually works revolves around its similar structure to 3 elements (cobalt, vanadium, and iron) that, when combined, worked to neutralize EMF. Now, I’m not sure if I was onto exactly the correct mechanism of action, but it certainly appears that my hypothesis may have legs to stand on.

Please, protect yourself from excess EMF/5geee. There is a reason for this season. The canaries in the coal mines are telling us so.
xoxo~liz
